Dagestan Leads “Football at School” Project Participation




Makhachkala, June 25 – RIA “Dagestan”. Dagestanis took part in the All -Russian project “Football at School”. According to the results of 2024-2025, Dagestan demonstrated the largest number of participating schools-150, the press service of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Dagestan reports.

This academic year, 385 schools of the region joined the implementation of the All -Russian festivals in the framework of the Football at School, by combining them in 974 festival events, which is a significant jump in comparison with last year’s indicators (264 schools and 680 events).

The successes of Dagestan teachers were no less significant: the number of participants who have submitted applications increased more than doubled-from 12 to 29 in the All-Russian Condition Football Condition.

Makhachkalai Physical Education teacher Gitinomagomed Rajabov Makhachkala was among the 50 best teachers of the country, and four of his colleagues entered the top 200 of the best teachers of the physical culture of the project.

The regional coordinator of the project Arslanly Magomedzapirov expressed conviction in the further expansion and successful development of initiative in the region.

To support and develop pedagogical skills, within the project during the school year, 8 methodological practitioners were organized that covered more than 300 physical education teachers, and also implemented 56 trips to schools to conduct exciting “football lessons”.

It should be noted that the work in the framework of the “Football at School” project in the Republic of Dagestan is carried out under the control of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Dagestan, and the curator is the director of the Russian Federation of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Dagestan Alexander Markarov.
