Bologna Pursues Sparta’s Vitík: Release Clause Revealed

Bologna again has Martin Vitík (22) from Sparta in Prague. According to the renowned journalist Mattea Morett, the Czech representative could be a substitute for the middle defender Sam Beuke (26) or Jhon Lucumi (27). Both of them could change the jersey within Serie A.

Bologna was interested in Vitík in the summer of 2024, then saw him as an ideal replacement for Riccard Calafiori, who left for Arsenal. But the transfer failed because Sparta did not want to lose a key defender at the end of the transfer period without the possibility to bring a replacement for him.

At that time there was speculation about the amount of at least 15 million euros, now according to Moretta Vitík has an output clause of EUR 13 million in the contract.

The contract of the Spartan offspring is valid until June 2026. In addition to Boloni, Real Betis, who would like to bring him only as a tracker number four, again showed interest. The Spanish media speculated on a transfer amount of around 10 million euros, but pointed out that such an offer would not have to be sufficient for the Czech club.

While Juventus is interested in Lucumi, Beukema is associated with transfer to Naples. In addition to Vitík, Bologna is also interested in bringing the forvard Ruben van Bommel of Alkmaar or defender César Táreg of Valencia.
