Ayayi & Morgan Join Paris Basketball: JL Bourg Exits

Above all, Ayayi shone in playoffs… Faced with Paris Basketball, with 10 points, 6 rebounds and 6 medium assists on the series. Just out of a solid season at Hapoël Jerusalem – with a final of the Israeli championship at the key – Jeremy Morgan (1.98 m, 30 years old) returns to France. The American winger, who shone under the orders of Tuomas Iisalo in Bonn and then in Bourg-en-Bresse, experienced a year in halftone, slowed down by an ankle injury. In Eurocup, it turned to 6.5 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.8 decisive in 19 games.

When he returned to Ekinox in January with Hapoël Jerusalem, he had expressed his desire, with the leaders of the JL Bourg, to return to the Ain. The discussions lasted long weeks, almost two months in reality, before Morgan retracted, like the long envisaged extension of Ayayi to the JL.

With the arrivals of Ayayi, Morgan, but also Amath M’baye and Allan Dokossi inside, Paris Basketball largely revives its workforce after gleaning the title of 2025 French champion.
