（马六甲22日讯）疑不满遭人举报非法停车，华裔男子怒砸邻居轿车后，复出言恐吓对方，结果遭警方逮捕助查。

甲中央警区主任克里斯多夫今日发文告指出，警方于昨日下午约5时30分接获一名47岁本地男子的投报，指本身停放在住家外的轿车遭人破坏。

他说，事主指本身于本月20日晚上约11时，发现一辆轿车停放在其住家前，阻碍交通，因此拍下照片向市政厅投报。

“昨天下午约5时，事主在住家前听见吵杂声，出外查看时，发现一名男子正以铁条敲打其轿车，导致车身损坏，包括车头灯、车镜及引擎盖等。”

他说，事主上前阻止时，嫌犯不但没有停止，反而出言恐吓事主。

克里斯多夫表示，警方接获投报后，于昨晚11时逮捕一名41岁的华裔男子，并充公相信是干案工具的铁条。

他说，警方目前援引刑事法典第427条文（蓄意破坏）及第506条文（刑事恐吓）调查此案，嫌犯将被延扣至本月24日助查。

他呼吁民众若有任何情报，可联络查案官莫哈末法依兹助理警监，电话017-224 8292，或到邻近警局提供情报。
