Competition Format: From Groups to Glory

The tournament will follow a dynamic format. Preliminary rounds will consist of group games,leading to a single-elimination (knockout) system. In cases where a division has fewer than six pairings, the tournament will consist solely of group games.

To maintain balanced competition, each division will ideally be capped at 16 participants. If necessary, additional classes will be opened to accommodate all players.The game committee reserves the right to adjust player classifications based on Germany-wide rankings to ensure fair and competitive matches. To participate, players must possess a valid game permit from BVBB. Youth players must also have clearance for senior tournaments, as per § 7 of the BVBB-JO regulations. Shuttlecocks and Refereeing: Playing Fair

Players are responsible for sharing the cost of shuttlecocks during their matches. In the event of uneven shuttlecock usage, the losing party provides one additional shuttlecock. The organizers will provide shuttlecocks for the finals (up to one tube).
