Pollestres Judo Tournament: Spectacular Action

The Judo‍ Club Pollestres, ⁣in partnership ⁣wiht the City, hosted its inaugural International Judo‌ Tournament featuring mixed teams, held in the Jordi-Barre room.

Thirteen teams, each comprising seven judokas, engaged in a preliminary group stage before advancing to the final standings. The competition’s high caliber ensured thrilling, spectacular bouts, captivating⁤ the enthusiastic crowd. The dedication of⁤ the young judokas created an electric atmosphere.

ACBB Claims Final Victory

After a series of closely contested matches, ACBB (Hauts-de-Seine) emerged victorious in the final, defeating Future Judo (Haute-Garonne). Following the‍ climactic showdown,‌ Jean-Charles Moriconi, mayor, and his sports assistant, Alain Cordero, presented trophies and medals to the triumphant finalists.

All competitors received gifts from tournament sponsors: Cémoi chocolate, Sankéo Kéolis, Ford Groupe Maurin Automobiles, and Crédit Agricole. the event’s flawless execution,orchestrated‌ by a dedicated team of 20 volunteers under the direction of Nicolas Desprez,club technical director,garnered widespread praise. Building on this success, the Judo Club Pollestres is already planning the 2026 edition.
