Morocco’s FIFA Football Program for Schools Concludes Successfully

The first edition of FIFA’s Football Program for Schools in Morocco wrapped up Wednesday, a three-day event held at the Mohammed VI Football Complex from February 17-19.The program, a collaborative effort between FIFA and the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, aimed to cultivate a love for the sport among young moroccans.

A Foundation for Future Stars

the closing ceremony highlighted the program’s significance as a cornerstone for football development. The President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation emphasized the program’s role in nurturing talent, both on and off the field. He stressed that this initiative is not a flash in the pan, but a long-term investment in Morocco’s football future, extending beyond the 2030 World Cup.

Empowering Educators

The program benefited 52 physical education and sports professors from regional academies. The curriculum included both theoretical and practical sessions, designed to equip educators with the latest techniques and insights. Expert instructors guided the workshops, ensuring a extensive learning experience.

A Celebration of Success

The closing ceremony saw the President of the University, joined by Gilson fernandez, assistant director of FIFA’s member’s department, and Younis Al-Suhaimi, secretary General of the Ministry of National Education, Primary Education and sports, recognizing the participating professors. Certificates were presented to acknowledge their participation and the valuable knowledge gained.
