Italian Archers Shine at European Indoor Championships
Samsun, Turkey – The European Indoor Shooting Championships, Arc 2025, reached its dramatic conclusion in Samsun, turkey. Today’s finals showcased intense competition, particularly in the Under 21 category.Tomorrow, the continental outdoor review will culminate with the senior finals.
Poerio Pirà Claims Bronze
Francesco Poerio Pirà secured a hard-fought bronze medal in the individual competition, defeating Bator Shirabsynguv 6-2. Earlier, he and his teammates, Davide De Giovanni and emiliano Rampon, ascended to the bronze podium in the male team event, triumphing over Slovakia 6-0. Meanwhile, the female trio of Chiara compano, Lucia Elena, and Martina Sona, earned silver, falling just short of the Turkish hosts in a close 5-1 final.
Bacerio’s bronze, Gubbini’s Fourth
Isabella bacerio claimed bronze in her individual event, while Lorenzo Gubbini finished fourth. Though, Gubbini played a pivotal role in Italy’s male team triumph. Together with Marco Tosco and Fabrizio aloisi, they edged out Turkey 230-227 in a nail-biting final.Regrettably,the Italian women’s team suffered a setback,losing to Turkey 229-223 in the final.
Grezzani and Locchi Dominate Naked Arc
In the naked arc competition, Linda Grezzani showcased her dominance, defeating Turkish archer Ecem Deniz to claim the European Juniores title. Giulio Locchi also excelled, earning bronze in the men’s event.
