Roggiano Gravina Hosts Gran Prix Karate Brutium 2025



The picturesque town of Roggiano Gravina in Cosenza is set to become the ⁣epicenter of martial arts excellence ‍on February 9, 2025, as it hosts a prestigious Karate Grand Prix. This important event, spearheaded by Mayor ‌Salvatore ⁢De Maio and Sports Councilor Vincenzo Barbieri, is organized by the FIJLKAM Calabria Regional Committee, the⁣ official CONI-recognized federation for judo, wrestling, karate, and martial arts.

The ⁣competition will feature participants​ from the Under12,Cadet,Junior,and Senior categories,showcasing their skills in both Kata and Kumite disciplines.Additionally,the event welcomes athletes from Sports Promotion Bodies affiliated with FIJLKAM. Karate practitioners from across Calabria ‌will converge in Roggiano Gravina, demonstrating the region’s exceptional talent under the guidance of key figures such as Committee president ‌Maestro Migliarese, Sector President Maestro Gemelli, ‍Technical Commissioner Maestro Luciano Dichiera, and Federal ‍delegate Viola Zangara.

The⁤ event’s coordination is entrusted to ASD Karate San Marco⁤ Argentano, an association ‍established by Maestro Dichiera. Known for its active collaboration with the regional committee, the organization‌ has been instrumental in promoting martial arts ‌events throughout Calabria, notably in‍ the Cosenza province.
