boari, the first Italian woman to win an Olympic medal in archery, began her journey in the direct elimination rounds, ultimately reaching the gold medal match. Scheduled to face Britain’s Penny Healey at 3 PM, Boari demonstrated her dominance with decisive victories. She triumphed 7-1 against France’s Botte and her compatriot mijno, followed by a 6-4 win over Germany’s Kroppen, and a commanding 6-0 semifinal victory against Estonia’s parnat. Meanwhile,Vanessa Landi and Tatiana Andreoli were eliminated in the quarterfinals,with Landi falling 4-6 to Parnat and Andreoli suffering a 0-6 defeat to Healey,who had previously defeated Roberta Di Francesco 6-0.
