Katiuska Santaella Re-elected President of Venezuelan Judo Federation for 2025-2029 Cycle

Sensei Katiuska Santaella ⁣has⁣ once again been chosen by venezuela’s judo community to lead the Venezuelan Judo Federation (FVJ) for the 2025-2029 Olympic cycle. The decision was made during an Extraordinary Assembly held at the‍ United Nations Park⁤ in Caracas, solidifying her position as a⁢ trusted⁤ leader in the sport.

With 22 associations officially recognized by the FVJ participating in the election, Santaella’s candidacy was the sole proposal presented. This unanimous support highlights ‍the judo community’s unwavering trust⁤ in her ‍vision and leadership capabilities.

Having first taken the helm during the Tokyo 2020 cycle and ‌continuing through Paris 2024, Santaella ⁢is now focused on elevating Venezuelan judo‌ to new heights. Her primary goal is to secure remarkable achievements at‌ the⁤ Los Angeles 2028 Olympics,working closely with her ​dedicated team to make this vision a reality.

The newly appointed FVJ‌ Board of Directors includes⁤ the following members:
