As I mentioned earlier, Felipe would have undoubtedly been the standout player for that team in the South American tournament. At Bayern, he has been consistently gaining invaluable experience by training alongside seasoned professionals since the start of the season. This isn’t to say that the other players lack talent. I’ve observed a squad with significant potential—some of whom weren’t even called up—that has a realistic shot at advancing to the tournament’s final stages and, with a bit of luck, could even secure a spot in the world Cup. As for why Chemo made that statement, I truly can’t say.
– Did Felipe ever personally share his thoughts with Del Solar or anyone close to him in Lima?
