Winner in Madrid, Andrey Rublev reaches sixth place in the ATP rankings

Thanks to his success on Sunday in the final of the Masters 1000 in Madrid, Andrey Rublev reached sixth place in the ATP rankings published this Monday. This is still dominated by Novak Djokovic. The Serbian is ahead of the Italian Jannik Sinner and the Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz (who will both be absent at the Masters 1000 in Rome this week).

Rublev’s progress comes at the expense of Norwegian Casper Ruud, seventh, and Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas, eighth. They both move back one place.

On the French side, Ugo Humbert is 15th, overtaken by the American Ben Shelton. And Adrian Mannarino, 21st, is chased out of the Top 20 by the Canadian Félix Auger-Aliassime, who jumped 15 places after his final in Madrid. Gaël Monfils has gained two places and is ranked 38th in the world.
