Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th May, two days of vintage cycling in Marina di Ragusa with Gioia Bartali, Michela Girardengo and the organizers of “La Barocca”.
For those who love cycling, vintage, and good food, in addition to the views of Ragusa, it is finally time to experience a new edition of the Ciclostorica Iblea.
“Saturday 18th, at 4.00 pm, smiles on our faces and saddles under our bums for a bike ride open to everyone, adults and children, before immersing ourselves in the beauty of timeless athletes with the book “Gino Bartali, my dad”. Music and dinner will complete the evening.” The mayor of Ragusa, Peppe Cassì, declared this this afternoon.
The day of the actual race is scheduled for Sunday 19th, to be tackled strictly with retro clothing and vintage bikes. Departure at 9.00 am and expected arrival at 4.30 pm.
“The epicenter of the event – Cassì again – will be the village of Piazza “Scalo Trapanese”, a name that also has a slightly vintage flavor for us Ragusans”.
