Hanoi (VNA) – The Badminton World Federation announced its latest rankings which also serve as the basis for determining official qualifications for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games (OG).
In this ranking, the Vietnamese Nguyen Thuy Linh ranks 17th among women with 48,350 points, and her compatriot Le Duc Phat, 34th among men (23,630 points), thus securing their places to participate in the Paris Olympic Games scheduled for July and August 2024.
Currently, Nguyen Thuy Linh and Le Duc Phat are participating in training inside the country. They also plan to participate in some international tournaments in May and June for better preparation for the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics.

So far, Vietnam has obtained 10 official places to participate in the 2024 Paris Olympics: Nguyen Thuy Linh, Le Duc Phat (badminton), Trinh Thu Vinh, Le Thi Mong Tuyen (shooting), Nguyen Huy Hoang (swimming) , Nguyen Thi That (cycling), Trinh Van Vinh (weightlifting), Vo Thi Kim Anh (boxing), Nguyen Thi Huong (canoeing) and Pham Thi Hue (rowing)./.
