Vierzon FC celebrates promotion for B and C teams in regional championships

Festive Sunday for Vierzon FC, which sees at the end of the final day of the regional championships of the Ligue du Center – Val de Loire football, its B team reach R1 and its C team move up to R2.

The Vierzon FC reserve, second in its group in R2, ensured its accession to Regional 1 by winning against Bourges Moulon. Against a Moulon team already relegated to R3 before the match, Yohan Paul’s players pulled out all the stops and put on an offensive display of fireworks in this last match of the season.

With a quadruple from Nourdine Tarfaya (8th, 12th sp, 28th, 53rd), three doubles from Boukary Keita (62nd, 63rd), Bilal Abdellah (45th, 67th) and Kalvin Paul (33rd, 72nd), Vierzon was pleasure.

0-0 for team C in Montgivray

Ten goals in total which were not recorded, the Moulon team finding itself down to seven players in the 78th minute, the match was stopped by the referee which meant a 3-0 victory by forfeit.

With this twelfth success, VFC B finished in second place behind Ouest Tourangeau, sufficient to open the doors to the regional elite, a first in the young history of the VFC.

An accession which calls for another since team C, in R3, by sharing the points in Montgivray (0-0) reaches R2.
