In Wolfsburg, Müller knows that he would become the new number 2. As the successor to long-time regular goalkeeper Koen Casteels, Kamil Grabara comes from FC Copenhagen for 10.3 million euros; the Pole will be the new number 1. Pavao Pervan, previously Casteels’ first representative, is taking a step back in the goalkeeping hierarchy and will be number 3 ahead of Niklas Klinger.
Philipp Schulze, who spent the last six months with third division relegated club Hallescher FC and made 14 appearances, is set to go on loan again. Numerous third division clubs are vying for the 21-year-old, with SC Verl having the best chances.
