Veteran Judoka Takes Second Place in French Competition as Preparation for National Championships

He left a few days ago for a series of competitions in France. The veteran judoka finished in second place on the podium for his first competition.

He prepared intensively for two and a half months before taking off on May 6. This Saturday, May 10, William Lemoine was lined up for the Master d’Artagnan d’Auch in Gers, named after the famous musketeer born a few kilometers away.

This Saturday, the judoka from the archipelago and 2022 French vice-champion was beaten in the under 73 kilo final, winning the silver medal on the second step of the podium.

The objective of this journey which begins in France for William Lemoine is the French veterans judo championships which will be held in Paris on June 22 and 23.
