Lo American college sports – feminine – seems a constant in Varese in these days. If in Busto Arsizio UYBA has prepared a series of three friendly matches volleyball against as many stars and stripes colleges, in Gazzada Schianno it is the baskets that give space to a college overseas.
Tuesday 28 May (two-way ball at 8pm) on PalaGasch in via Matteotti hosts the match between Varese Women’s Basketball and the Presidents, the team of Washington & Jefferson Collegea university located in the state of Pennsylvania, not far from Pittsburgh.
A very interesting comparison for several reasons: Premazzi and her companions will in fact be able to compete with a distant and different basketball “school”. compared to the teams usually encountered in the championship (Varese played in Serie B and finished in fourth place).
