MADRID, 12 May. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Valencia Basket repeated its victory in a resounding manner (61-44) against Perfumerías Avenida to become champion of the Endesa Women’s League for the second year in a row, a national treble after winning the Super Cup and the Queen’s Cup.

After already winning with authority in Salamanca on Thursday, the ‘taronja’ team quickly sentenced the league title in a Fonteta delivered with a historic number of 7,573 attendees. Valencia was once again the executioner of a Perfumerías that has found in the Valencians a serious brake on its fight for the titles.

The seventh in the record of the Valencia Basket women’s section, in just six years in the top category, was created from the initial dominance. Rubén Burgos’ team led from start to finish and had a lethal duo in Queralt Casas (11 points and 10 rebounds) and Nadia Fingall (15 and 12) who was named ‘MVP’ of the final.
