According to Ulleung-gun on the 14th, 70 athletes from 7 sports (golf, archery, badminton, foot volleyball, table tennis, taekwondo, tennis) participated in this competition, winning 2 silver medals in Taekwondo, 1 bronze medal in archery, and entering the opening ceremony. Won 3rd place in the military department.
In the archery event held at Geumojeong in Gumi as a pre-match on the 5th, the Ulleung-gun team placed third and won a bronze medal.
During the main competition held on the 11th, Kim Hwi-soo, who participated in the Taekwondo men’s general division (-63kg), narrowly won a silver medal against Goryeong-gun in the final.
Choi Min-jun, who competed in the men’s general division (-68kg) on the 12th, also unfortunately took a silver medal.
At the opening ceremony held on the 10th, Ulleung-gun mascot Oh Ki-dong led the performance with Haehorang for about 40 people to announce the determination of the Ulleung-gun athletes and the emerald Ulleungdo, a treasure trove of nature, to the entire city and county.
