Tyrese Haliburton Exits Game 2 Against Celtics with Left Hamstring Soreness, Status Uncertain for Game 3

Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton exited in the third quarter of Game 2 against the Boston Celtics on Thursday and did not return due to left hamstring soreness.

BOSTON — The star of the Indiana Pacers, Tyrese Haliburtoncame out in the third quarter of the Game 2 against the Boston Celtics Thursday and did not return due to left hamstring soreness.

Pacers coach Rick Carlisle said the team would know more about the injury and the status of Tyrese Haliburton on Friday.

Boston won 126-110 to take a 2-0 lead in the Eastern Conference finals.

Tyrese Haliburton He was taken out of the game with 3:44 left in the third quarter and returned to the locker room with Indiana trailing by 11. The Pacers announced during the fourth quarter that Haliburton would not return.

Tyrese Haliburtonwho had 25 points and 10 assists in Game 1, finished with 10 points on 4-of-8 shooting (2-of-6 from 3-point range) and eight assists.

He missed 10 games with a strained left hamstring he suffered on Jan. 8 against the Celtics when he slipped and fell and had to be helped off the court.
