Two new Bretons joined the French delegation this Wednesday to compete in the Paris 2024 Olympics this summer. Unsurprisingly, it was badistas Xuefei Qi, from Badminton Club Rostrenen, and Thom Gicquel, from Red Star Mulhouse, who were selected by the French Badminton Federation and the French National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSF). The gold medalist of the 2024 European Championships Thom Gicquel will represent France in mixed doubles alongside Delphine Delrue (Badminton Club Chambly Oise) while Xuefei Qi will play in women’s singles.
