Great success for the Judo Team of the ASD Jujitsu Academy L’Aquila which won, with its athletes from L’Aquila, five medals on the occasion of the CSEN National Judo Cup held in Velletri on Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 May 2024, in which athletes participated experts from all over Italy.
In Sunday’s match, under the watchful eye of the coach Giampaolo Petrollini, the judoka Luigi Latino, with a succession of spectacular and victorious matches, he won the gold medal by climbing to first place on the podium for the Master Black Belt -73 Kg category. Claudia Ioannucci beating numerous opponents with technique and determination, she climbed onto the first step of the podium, winning gold in the Senior Black Belt -57 Kg category. Chiara Fani, with great courage, won two silver medals having participated in both the Senior – 63 Kg, and Senior -70 Kg obtaining second place in both categories.
In the Saturday race, Maicol Ciuffetelliat just 13 years old, won the bronze medal by placing third in the Under 15 -55 kg category. The competition was also good Francesco Di Rienzo who, in the Under 18 category, won the first match.
Great satisfaction expressed by the President of the ASD Jujitsu Academy L’Aquila, Moses Lamolinarawhich highlighted the high level achieved by L’Aquila judo in national competitions, a source of pride for the whole city.
