The body of a 42-year-old woman was found around 7 p.m. Tuesday evening following a fire in an apartment building located on rue de Versailles in Pointe-aux-Trembles. She would have been stabbed.
This is the 9th murder of the year to occur in the territory served by the SPVM.
Another woman, who also suffered injuries, is currently considered an important witness in the case.
The connection between these two people is unknown at this time.
The man shot dead in Saint-Hubert is a former member of the Hells Angels
This is Éric “Béluga” Leclerc, a former sympathizer of the criminal group.
The investigation was transferred to the Sûreté du Québec.
