WHO IS ERGİN ATAMAN?

Ergin Ataman was born in Istanbul on January 7, 1966 and started his education life at the Italian High School. He started his basketball career as a player in the Eczacıbaşı team in 1978 and then also played in the Yeşilyurt team. He ended his acting career in 1996. He won the FIBA ​​Saporta Cup with Montepaschi Siena in 2002, the EuroChallange with Beşiktaş in 2012 and the EuroCup with Galatasaray in 2016. He also won the EuroLeague championship with Anadolu Efes in 2021 and 2022, an achievement that made him the first Turkish coach to achieve this title in EuroLeague history and was named EuroLeague Coach of the Year in 2021.
