After 8 match days they were left with 2 candidates for the title. Thanks to Anderlecht’s convincing 5-2 victory against Ghent, the Purple & White regained the leading position, after having to relinquish it to Standard for a few hours. Standard knocked OHL out of the title race earlier in the day with a 0-1 win.
Club YLA is no longer competing for the title. But since it won the cup against Leuven, it has not forgotten how to win. They also did this last week with an economical 1-0 win against Genk. Club is fourth in the standings.
