LE SCAN SPORT – Borussia Dortmund took on Paris SG this Wednesday morning on social networks, in response to tweets sent by the Parisian club after qualifying for the semi-finals at the expense of FC Barcelona.

To celebrate its victory in Barcelona on April 16 and its presence in the last four of the C1, Paris SG posted the next morning on its X account (formerly Twitter) a photomontage of a hot air balloon in the colors of Barça, stranded in the Seine at the foot of the Eiffel Tower. He accompanied his illustration, where the sun rose slowly, with the title of the song by Jacques Dutronc: “It’s five o’clock, Paris is waking up”.

In French in the text, Borussia Dortmund responded this Wednesday morning in two stages, still on X, after the qualification of its team for the final of the Champions League at the expense of the Parisian club. He first tweeted “Good morning. It’s 5:09”like the number 09 which appears on the BVB logo, in reference to the year the Ruhr club was founded, in 1909.

The return of the hot air balloon

Four and a half hours later, Borussia in turn published a photomontage of a hot air balloon in the yellow and black colors of BVB flying from a beach towards the final at Wembley.

“Have a nice holiday”wished Borussia to the Parisians, reduced to beach huts and sandcastles, when Dortmund will try to win a second Champions League on June 1, after that of 1997.
