The 35-year-old judoka won the Grand Slam in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, on Sunday. Three months before the Olympics, the legend is in great shape.
Tremendous. And a good omen before the Olympics (July 26-August 11). Teddy Riner, 35, won the Grand Slam in Dushanbe (Tajikistan) on Sunday, beating Tajik Temur Rakhimov in the final, less than three months before the Paris Olympic Games.
The double Olympic heavyweight champion (2012, 2016) won by ippon against the world No.2. He thus won his third Grand Slam of the year 2024 after his victories in Paris and Antalya, and gained valuable points in the rankings before the Games.
