WATCHES – The amateur sports association “Archery Club Veglie”, in collaboration with the FITARCO Puglia Committee, organized the Summer Regional Phase of the Pinocchio Trophy “Memorial Odilia Coccato”, scheduled for Sunday 26 May at 9.00 am at the sports field (in case of bad weather, it will take place inside the building) of the “San Giovanni Bosco” oratory, in Veglie.
The Pinocchio Trophy is a tournament that aims to promote archery among youth groups (very young people and boys); traditionally reserved for the Olympic bow division, from this year it is also open to the compound bow.
The young archers who win the first places on the podium in each class will be the members of the Apulian regional representative that will access the National Final, scheduled for Latina on 15-16 June.
The summer phase of the Pinocchio Trophy has become an event that our little Apulian archers await with anxiety and trepidation, as, united by the same passion for this sporting discipline, they experience a day of celebration and fun in the name of the healthy values of sport , of friendship, sharing and fair competition; for this reason, it is a source of great pride for the Vegliese archery association to be the support company in the realization of the event, here in our country.
