Success for Nathan at IBSA Grand Prix and Strong Showing by Dojo Romanais Judokas

First of all, Nathan continued his preparation for the Paralympic Games by participating in the IBSA Grand Prix in Tbilisi where he beat the reigning Paralympic champion in the semi-final and narrowly lost in the final against the Japanese.

A very nice second place with good feelings, which is very encouraging for the rest of the season. A big congratulations to Nathan who carries the Roman colors high in all the competitions in which he competes.

12 judokas in the French 2nd division championship

Twelve Romanian judokas participated in the French 2nd division and Espoirs Cadets championships.

A championship with a group stage and a table without repechage and nearly 80 judokas per weight category.

The members of the Dojo Romanais all managed to come out of the pools. Bastien Brault lost in the semi-final of the French 2nd division championship and came back with a very good 3rd place which ended a great season for him with a lot of commitment.

A group of seniors took part in the Tergnier label A tournament. Lisa Richard finished 3rd.

Now for the French Cadet and Junior Team Championship where 3 teams will participate on the weekend of June 1 and 2.

Results which confirm the vitality of the Dojo Romanais chaired by David Gougouzian. The latter can rely on a high-level technical team which has been with the club for a long time, which explains the numerous results obtained by its members in major competitions throughout the season.
