Nils Stump celebrates a triumph at the Grand Slam tournament in Dushanbe. The 27-year-old from Zurich won in the class up to 73 kg. In the final he defeated the local Tajik Behruzi Khojazoda. It is the third success at the highest level for the 2023 world champion.
It is the third medal in Dushanbe for the Swiss judo delegation. On Friday, Fabienne Kocher won in the up to 52 kg class against compatriot Binta Ndiaye.
After their recent successes, Stump, Kocher and Ndiaye are also among the medal contenders at the Olympic Games in Paris.
