Sepp Straka had a strong opening round at the PGA golf tournament in Charlotte, North Carolina. The 31-year-old Viennese is in fifth place at the Wells Fargo Championship after a round of 68 of three under par.
The American Xander Schauffele took the lead at the Quail Hollow Club on Thursday with seven under par or a three-shot lead. So Straka is only one shot short of second place.
