Strong Start but Early Exit: Recap of Erik Abramov’s Performance in Preliminary Round

Erik Abramov always makes short work of his three fights in the preliminary round. In the first fight against Yevheniy Balyevskyy from Ukraine, he throws Waza-ari after just a few seconds, followed by the second Waza-ari after 17 seconds. Losseni Kone wins the duel shortly before the end with Waza-ari. In the end, Erik Abramov finished seventh in the tournament.

Dena Pohl wins the opening fight against the French Melkia Auchecorne shortly before the end of the regular fight time with a pin. However, she loses in the second fight and is eliminated one round too early for a place.
