At the traditional Sparkasse Cup in Strausberg, both the U11 girls and the U13 boys from KSC ASAHI Spremberg showed great performances. The six U11 starters each won a medal: Amy and Amelia Krupper each won gold, as did Florentine Graetz and Felicitas Büttner. Mira Struck secured the silver medal and Joline Bötcher won bronze. The following day the U13 boys continued their winning streak. Ferdinand Völker won the final of the weight class up to 37 kg against his training partner Timon Buchholz. Jesper Mudrack fought for third place in the up to 50 kg class, while Elias Altmann and Ilja Yaremko narrowly missed out on the medals with a fifth place.

At the traditional Sparkasse Cup in Strausberg, our six U11 starters were able to bring home six medals. The Krupper family won gold twice. The twins Amy and Amelia were unbeatable that day and secured first place each. Florentine Graetz and Felicitas Büttner also won the gold medal. For Mira Struck it wasn’t over until the final. The student from Döbern won silver after a strong competition. Joline Bötcher rounded off our girls’ excellent performance with her bronze medal.
After the girls performed well on Saturday, our U13 boys had to travel to Strausberg on Sunday. Here too, the now 22nd edition of the Sparkasse Cup was well attended. In the weight class up to 37 kg, Timon Buchholz and Ferdinand Völker rushed through the preliminary round and both confidently made it to the final. This time Ferdinand Völker won the duel between training partners. Jesper Mudrack achieved an excellent 3rd place up to 50 kg. Elias Altmann and Ilja Yaremko narrowly missed out on medals with fifth place.
