Pueyrredón and Napostá won the first games of the permanence series – the best of five – of the Primera tournament, after beating San Lorenzo and Estudiantes, respectively.
Both did it as a local. The second games will be played next Sunday.
Pueyrredón 69, San Lorenzo 57
Pueyrredón dominated the first half against San Lorenzo at will, to win 69 to 57.
The local team was already winning 20 to 3 at the beginning, closing the first quarter 22 to 8.
In the first half they made an unattainable difference: 40 to 20, with 16 points from Giarraffa (4-7 in triples) and 11 from Scattolini (5-6 in doubles) and 5 rebounds.
Juan Ignacio Scatolini (15 points and 7 rebounds) and Federico Giarraffa (18 units and 10 rebounds) were the mainstays for the local side.
Meanwhile, Ignacio Formiga, with 12 rebounds and 14 points, was the most effective of the visit.
