The White Sox have promoted right-handed pitcher Clevinger from Triple-A.
Clevinger has the potential to receive extra compensation of million based on his number of starts and innings pitched. He will receive a bonus of 0,000 for each start between 11 and 25, as well as 0,000 for reaching 55 innings and every additional five until he reaches 125 innings.

Chicago has additionally put pitcher Dominic Leone on the 15-day injured list due to tightness in his lower back.
He has a record of 60 wins and 39 losses, with an ERA of 3.45 in 128 starts and 24 relief appearances over eight seasons with Cleveland (2016-20), San Diego (2020-22), and Chicago (2023). He was unable to play during the 2021 season due to undergoing Tommy John surgery.
The 33-year-old player started in two games for Charlotte and gave up three runs and 10 hits while also recording seven strikeouts in 7⅓ innings.
Last season, Clevinger had a record of 9 wins and 9 losses with a 3.77 ERA and two complete games in 24 starts while playing for the White Sox. He is currently a free agent.
