It took a lot of imagination, at the end of the last day of the group stage, on December 13, to predict a semi-final between these two. On the one hand a PSG which, certainly, was launching a new cycle and could hope for progression over the course of the season, but suffered to embody the mastery it claimed and displayed tactical dissonances between its style and its players. On the other, Borussia Dortmund lost at the start of the season and finally qualified before the last day thanks to favorable match circumstances and an ability to create danger in the area which did not, however, mask the holes in air displayed during a game and in the middle of its block.
