The format of the Dolomites Saslong HM is appreciated by all its participants, as is the great care and attention to detail that the organizing committee puts into setting up the event. It is the ASV Gherdeina Runners led by president Manuela Perathoner who proposes the rich race package which for the 2024 edition will contain, inside a practical Martini Gym Bag, the peculiar socks from the “running” line of the renowned German company Falke and the Hygan detergent for delicate items, as well as Profanter “Schüttelbrot” and Speck Kofler, while Dolomia Water and Mönchshof Natur Radler 0.0% beer will satisfy the thirst of runners. At the end of the race all participants will be able to refresh themselves at the pasta party with the typical food and wine specialties of the area and enjoy the entertainment offered by the After Race Party, without forgetting that the event’s services also include supplies along the entire route, free parking at the start/finish area, shower service and massage service provided by the Dolomiti Sportclinic.
On the finish line each runner will be awarded with the “finisher” medal of the Dolomites Saslong HM which for the 6th edition will be made of wood and metal, enriched by the laser engraving of the profile of the Sassolungo Group to recall the logo of the demonstration. The same emblem will be shown on the rock trophies of the Dolomites that the runners will receive on the podium set up at the Monte Pana headquarters. That same Monte Pana which, after having crowned the stage winner of the Giro d’Italia Tadej Pogačar with the uphill finish on the slopes of Sassolungo, is now preparing for new and exciting sporting ventures which are all in the hands of the competitors of the Dolomites Saslong Half Marathon. From the loyal Daniele Felicetti and Alex Oberbacher to the talents of Martina Cumerlato, Georg Piazza, Luca Clara and Mauro Rasom, the sporting spectacle at the “Saslong” is guaranteed.
Registrations for the Dolomites Saslong Half Marathon on Saturday 8 June are open and until 31 May it is possible to take advantage of the discounted rate set at €70 to experience a great day of sport in an unparalleled environmental context, among the panoramas of rare beauty of the Sella Group, the Sciliar Massif and the Alpe di Siusi plateau, the best antidote to overshadow the fatigue of the race.
