Seawolves chairman André Jürgens: “I think it’s time to make a change. Even if these are the moments that are emotionally difficult. Christian is one of our promotion heroes and we will be forever grateful to him for that. He is in the history books of our club.”

This applies above all to the entire staff in their daily and intensive collaboration, but also to the fans who were always by our side and supported us – be it in the Wolfshöhle, at away games or even in Europe,” explained the coach.
Now it’s over for him in Rostock, his expiring contract will not be extended.

The coach highlights the positive development during his term of office in farewell: “It was a very successful time in which we further developed the organization structurally and in terms of content. There are always ups and downs, but looking back, the successes are the most important thing for me.”
