“This is the last lap for me”, McLeod assured. this Monday during an appearance on NFL Network’s “NFL Total Access.”

McLeod, who will turn 34 in June, signed a one-year deal this offseason to return to Cleveland for a second season.

McLeod originally entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent out of Virginia in 2012. He spent first four seasons of his career with the Rams and then played the next six with the Philadelphia Eagles, who won Super Bowl LII in the 2017 season. McLeod spent the 2022 season with the Colts before signing a one-year deal to join Cleveland, where he started five games before suffering a season-ending biceps injury in Week 11.

“I felt like last year was incomplete,” McLeod said. “I wanted a full year. I pride myself on my availability and my durability. So for me, this year is finishing unfinished business, I would say.”

McLeod has appeared in 166 games and started 143 in his career. In 2022, the NFL Players Association presented him with the Alan Page Community Award for his philanthropic work in Philadelphia.
