Roberto Escamilla from Ciudad Juárez set to compete in Archery World Cup in Slovenia

Ciudad Juárez- Roberto Escamilla from Juárez is already fine-tuning his course for the Archery World Cup to be held in Slovenia at the end of 2024.

Escamilla has had the ticket to the Nordic lands in his hand since last April, when he qualified for the world championship in his discipline at the national championship in Aguascalientes. The above in barebow mode (bow without pulleys) and with 3D objectives.

It is not the first time that the person trained at the Autonomous University of Ciudad Juárez has participated in the World Cup. His first participation took place in 2022 at the Tlaxcala World Cup. Before that tournament, the athlete had already won a silver and a bronze in the Conade National Games in 2010 and 2015 respectively.

In 2021 he did the same to climb to the second step of the podium and win the silver medal at the 2021 Pan American Archery Championship in Monterrey Nuevo León.

30 years old and 18 years old shooting arrows, Escamilla will leave for Slovenia at the end of November for the contest that will be valid from the 30th of that month until October 6,
