Listen to Robbie Hart, director of the documentary “Nos Amours” which tells the story of the Montreal Expos, at the microphone of Luc Ferrandez.
The film, which took more than a decade to produce, explores the passion of the fans and the impact of the MLB team on the city.
He recalls the disastrous consequences of the 1994 strike and the disinvestment of Quebec shareholders.
“There is no happy ending, except that what is conclusive is that Montreal is still committed to the ball. That money, businesses, and businessmen like Stephen Bronfman are behind this project, that major baseball knows that Montreal is credible and that the passion is obviously still there.”
The documentary will be available on Crave from October, but is already in theaters, at the cinema.
