The successful Utopias that have been built in Mexico City will be replicated by the next government of Ecatepec, said the candidate for municipal presidency, Azucena Cisneros.
These are public spaces in which activities are offered ranging from creativity, art, digital design and theater workshops, to swimming, boxing or judo classes, through reading circles, film-debate cycles, sports tournaments or tours. themes of environmental culture, identity and historical memory, citizenship and right to the city.
It is the most successful free social program of the candidate for the head of government of CDMX, Clara Brugada.
Morena’s mayoral leader said that in the first stage five Utopias will be built in the most marginalized areas of Ecatepec.
He announced that each Utopia will have an investment of 100 million pesos.
“In the next government we will cancel the large projects worth billions of pesos that were carried out in previous Ecatepec governments,” said Azucena Cisneros.
He noted that he has the commitment of presidential candidate Claudia Sheinbaum to support Ecatepec in the formation of the so-called Utopias.
He pointed out that this program of social coexistence and promotion of culture, sports and recreation is part of the crime prevention program of the new government of Ecatepec, which he will preside over after winning the votes on June 2.
The candidate Azucena Cisneros explained in a press conference that in terms of combating insecurity, underlying causes will be addressed, such as the fact that all young people study.
