The Serie A week has ended, in a fourth round weekend which featured several high-level matches among the 14 (overall) played. Let’s look at it in a little more detail.
In the group B double victory for Milano 1946 thanks to a walk-off scored by Cappellano in game 1 and then in game 2 with Fraulini’s sacrifice which made it 3-2 in the extra innings. Settimo and Poviglio were also on stage, with a double victory for Platform TMC in a truly tense manner in terms of scores.
In the group C only Rovigo-Cagliari is played. Game 1 is dominated by Rovigo 19-6, but game 2 sees a sensational comeback by the Sardinians who win 8-9 thanks also to a seven-point fifth inning. There are now three teams leading the group. The group Dinstead it showcases the mirror result of Athletics and Fiorentina, who exchanged 9-2.
Finally, the group E sees all the challenges unfolding today. The Catalan prevailed in game 1 against Reggio Emilia before being overwhelmed in game 2, while Oltretorrente and Codogno achieved double successes (the latter with a thrill).
