Malik Tillman remains at PSV. The Eindhoven club announced this on Friday afternoon via official channels. The 21-year-old American is on loan from Bayern Munich this season by PSV, and had the option to buy him from the German club afterwards. That option is now being exercised. Tillman signs a contract until mid-2028 in the Philips Stadium.
Tillman, who cost around twelve million euros according to the Eindhovens Dagblad, responds to the news on the PSV website. “I am very happy that I will be staying with PSV for longer. Tillman went through Bayern’s youth academy. When he was nineteen he also made his debut in professional football for that club. In the 2022/23 season he played a year on loan for Scottish side Rangers.
He returned to Bayern last summer, but that didn’t last long: PSV came knocking, and the clubs reached an agreement on a loan deal. This season, the attacking midfielder is important for the Eindhoven team, with 9 goals and 15 assists in 38 official matches so far.
