President Diomaye unveils key administrative modernization projects

The President of the Republic, Bassirou Diomaye Diakhar Faye, announced major digitalization projects to resolve delays in administrative procedures. During the celebration of Labor Day on May 1, he received the Notebooks of Grievances from the trade union centers.

In the current digital context, the public service is evolving, which should definitively resolve the administrative delays that affect users. In order to modernize the administration, the State of Senegal plans to launch major projects to digitalize administrative procedures, declared the Head of State.

The President also urged the Minister of Labor to extend the initiative of online filing and processing of employment contracts, currently underway at the Labor and Social Security Inspectorate in Dakar, to other inspections across the country. It also wishes to include other procedures such as the issuance of certificates of regularity and the filing of social reports.

In addition, the Minister of Labor is responsible for continuing to establish an integrated information system bringing together all actors in the labor and social protection sector, including the social security fund and IPRESS.
