Santo Domingo,RD.- The leadership of Constituency 2 of the Santo Domingo Este municipality of the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD), requested the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office against Electoral Crimes and Offenses to investigate complaints about the improper use of State resources that supposedly being carried out by deputy Bolívar Valera (El Boli) in the aforementioned political demarcation.
Through a communication addressed this Monday to the Head of that department of the Public Ministry, Dr. Iván Féliz Vargas, the purple party requested that complaints of possible violations of the electoral law be investigated, ranging from the offering of sports works such as: fields, play baseball, through the National Institute of Physical Education (INEFI), as well as jobs in the Municipal Council and solidarity pensions of up to 50 thousand pesos to political leaders of the PLD, with the aim of supporting his candidacy for deputy and to the ruling party.
In the communication signed by the Executive Directorate of the PLD in the aforementioned district, they consider that if the reported facts are true, they represent a clear violation of the electoral law and the principles of transparency and equity that the next electoral process must have.
