The Philadelphia 76ers aim to follow a relaunch path this offseason: add another All-Star alongside Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey.
The team, according to league sources, is looking to strengthen with a high-level winger to complement the Embiid-Maxey duo. After trading James Harden, the 76ers now have up to $60 million in salary cap space.
Among the possible targets are Paul George and OG Anunoby, who they could offer contracts at the maximum salary. Additionally, Klay Thompson and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope are options for one-plus-one contracts (one year guaranteed plus a second-year option).
The management’s strategy is to spend and sacrifice draft capital to compete for the title next season.
