Océane Dodin withdraws from Roland-Garros

After an excellent start to 2024 (quarter-finals in Canberra, round of 16 at the Australian Open, two halves on the ITF circuit), Océane Dodin will have gone through the clay season with difficulty.

With two victories in eight matches, the 74th in the world has already finished with the surface that is least successful for her, because she withdrew from Roland-Garros on Sunday evening. She had already given up in Rome, two weeks ago, in the second round, because of the dizziness she felt on the court and which has bothered her since the start of her career.

This withdrawal will prevent him from gleaning the points which could have ensured him a place at the Paris Olympic Games at the end of July. She will now have to count on the results of others to hope to get her ticket to the French team.
